Features
SEN pumps are manufactured using the most advanced technology to provide the best quality operation for use in aquarium, fountains, pond and hydroponics.
  1. SEN is multi-purpose pump which is fully submersible.
  2. SEN is a powerful and long lasting pump
  3. SEN has a single moving part construction magnetic impeller.  Therefore making it convenient to replace an clean.
  4. SEN motor unit is encapsulated in an epoxy without a seal to ensure safe and simple operation.  It does not require lubrication.
  5. SEN is a magnetically driven centrifugal pump.  Thus this pump can not pull water up from a lower level.

Safety Instructions
  1.  Make sure that your electrical voltage is compatible with voltage on the pump label
  2. Always use a properly grounded electrical outlet.
  3. To avoid electrical shock and/or electrical short, use a drip loop to prevent water travel along the power cord.
  4. Ensure pump is securely installed before operation.
  5. Pump should only be used with water.
  6. Do not operate a dry pump to avoid permanent damage.  Pump should always be used with water.
  7. Do not operate pump if it is damaged, malfunction, if there is a problem with the power cord.
  8. Always unplug the pump from the electrical outlet when not in use, before replacing or cleaning parts.  Do not yank power cord to unplug it from the electrical outlet.
  9. Do not install or store pump where it can be exposed extreme weather conditions or temperature below freezing.
  10. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with the proper rating should be used.  A cord rated for less amperes or watts than the pump rating may result in overheating.
  11. Do not attempt to repair pump at home.  If service is needed, return pump ot an authorized service center for service.
Maintenance
Impeller:
  1. Disconnect pump power cord before performing maintenance.
  2. Gently remove impeller housing from the power head motor unit.
  3. Pull out the complete magnetic impeller set from the motor unit.
  4. Clean and wipe the magnetic impeller set to remove accumulated dirt, debris and deposits.  Rinse with running water.  Do not use soap or other cleaning agents.
  5. Re-install the magnetic impeller set into shaft and impeller housing.

Notice:  Do not disassemble the magnetic impeller set.  It is not designed to be taken apart.  If the magnetic impeller set does not work properly, the complete magnetic impeller set will need to be replaced.

Pump Strainer
A foam pre-filter is supplied with the pump strainer to prevent obstructing impeller operation caused by foreign materials.  Clean the foam pre-filter of foreign materials with running water every two weeks.   Do not use soap or other cleaning agents.
Notes
  1. Always disconnect pump power cord before performing maintenance.
  2. The motor unit of the power head is encapsulated with epoxy.  There is no need for additional oil and / or seals.
  3. The only service needed part is impeller only.  Other parts will not be needed maintenance.
  4. The power cord of the power head can not be replaced.  If cord is damaged, discard the entire unit.
  5. To ensure proper operation the impeller magnetic should be replaced every year.
