| MAIN FUNCTION | Calcium, iodine, and strontium are important elements
for many marine organisms (corals, fish, algae,
crustaceans and invertebrates). All of these elements are
continuously depleted by the activity of marine
organisms. Therefore, elements depleted must be replaced
for their optimal growth. |

| SPECIAL NOTES | 1) Element levels to maintain in marine and reef
aquariums: calcium (400 to 450 ppm), strontium (8 to 13
ppm) and iodine (0.06 to 0.08 ppm). 2) Prior to treatment, turn off protein skimmer and remove carbon filter for several hours to prevent iodine depletion. 3) 5 ml of 4) Calcium saturation in the aquarium will precipitate phosphates (a nutrition for algaes) and controls unwanted algae blooms 5) Depending on the organism load, 20 to 30 ppm of calcium may be depleted every week. To balance these elements, test the calcium level with Won Calcium test kit. |
