- Discontinue carbon or chemical filtration.
- Add one teaspoon (5ml) of
solution per 10 gallons
of aquarium water. - Treatment must be repeat every other day for a minimum of three days and/or until signs of infection are gone.
- Avoid organic dilution of solution.
- Partial water changes should be made between treatments.
- Aeration should be provided during treatment to maintain dissolved oxygen levels.
- Avoid using when
fish have sustained severe skin damage.
- Use cotton or foam filter material for filtration during treatments.
- After treatment remove medicaments from water through water changes or by activate carbon filtration.
