Add 5 drops per gallon or 1/2
teaspoon (2.5 ml) per 10 gallons of water. |
| MAIN
FUNCTION |
There are two
broad classes of colloidal suspended materials which make
water cloudy: inorganic and organic. These
colloidal pollutants can be removed through coagulation
and flocculation. is a coagulant which makes the fine
colloidal particles into larger floc upon the addition of
electrolytes. The larger dense floc, resulting from
this process, can be removed easily through filtration or
by settling. |
| SPECIAL
NOTES |
- Water may become cloudy
during treatment. This reaction WILL NOT affect
the fish and WILL clear up within a few hours.
- Over dosage will cause the
pH to drop making it more acidic.
